Ghost in the Shell: SAC: Red Data

Major Motoko Kusanagi of Japan's Section 9 unit travels to Taiwan to investigate a criminal named Ro Kuze (row koozay) suspected to be apart of a terrorist organization called the Individual 11.

The Taiwan investigator tell the Major that they suspect that Kuze has been teaching the refugees to fend for themselves by telling them how to deal with the Yakuza and how to run drugs.

The Taiwan investigator doesn't have too much more information on Kuze as he is not considered an international terrorist.

The Major's flight is unable to get her back to Japan until tomorrow due to international affairs so the Major decides to check into a hotel.

She's walk to the hotel when she notices some kid about to get his arm chopped off by the Yakuza.

The Yakuza are upset because the kid and his refugee gang stole some goods from them and tried to sell it back to them.

Motoko shoots the sword out the Yakuza's hands just as the blade is about to connect to the kids upper body. Then she commences to kicking the shit out of everyone in a 1 meter radius.

the kid that major kusanagi saved

The kid seems to be between the ages of 12-15. The Major finds out that the kid is a Chinese refugee that has been pushing the Yakuza's buttons. I can not tell whether this kid is a girl or boy until he is staring directly at Major Motoko's ample breasts and crotch admiring her prosthetic body and mentioning that he wants one.

To show his gratitude he asks the Major, "Aren't you going to finish what you started?" Motoko tells the kid to get lost. He responds by calling the cops who are about fifteen steps away.

Checkmate. She reluctantly agrees to hang with the kid (though, I'm not sure why she doesn't want to deal with the cops. Perhaps, she does not want to deal with paperwork, or thinks the kid will try and hustle her with the cops, perhaps it has something to do with Section 9.)

The kid takes her to some warehouse filled with a shippment of figurines. Wonderfully painted and sculpted figurine imports made of pressurized cocaine! Is this what is funding the refugees?

pressurized cocain

Motoko is interested now. The kid tells her that Ro Kuze is the one who came up with this idea and it was doing pretty well. He mentions that his goal is to get a prosthetic body like Ro Kuze. The kid finds out that the Yakuza are on their way as they have just found out about the warehouse.

Motoko takes him to her hotel and lies to the receptionist about this young boy being her son.

"I don't allow him to call me mother." -- this is what Motoko tells the receptionist. ??? something must have gotten lost in translation.

motoko out of the shower

The scene cuts to Motoko casually 95% naked. She's just stepped out the shower. The kid doesn't seem the least bit concerned or stirred about the ulta hot hentai fantasy dripping wet before him. Her and the kid talk about the refugees and Kuze.

kusanagi more info from the kid

She now hopes to know as much as she can about this kid and his mind set in order to understand more about Kuze.

The kid climbs into bed and Motoko follows. She does not bother to put on PJ's.

At this point, I'm thinking that's weird.. but, O.k. maybe it is no biggie to sleep with strange refugee children in Japan. I mean there only going to sleep... right?

But then the kid asks: "can cyborgs do the nasty?"

To which, Motoko props her self up on an elbow with one breast mostly exposed: "Care to find out?"

The kid replies: Maybe next time.

What an idiot.

motoko disapointed

The Major replies: "hmm" And I can't figure out whether she is impressed with Kuze's understudy or disappointed that she could not molest a kid. Perhaps it is both. The answer is left completely up to the viewer leaving us confused with mouths agape.

In the dead of night the kid sneaks out of bed and goes through Motokos bag. The Major is ready for anything: she is on her side gripping a pistol, listening. He slips a key in her wallet and leaves.

major kusanagi checks out

Motoko checks out and catches a cab to the airport. On the freeway she finds the key. It is to a bath house locker across town.

major kusanagi key to locker 207

The kid really wanted her help and took a risk on trusting her to do the right thing. She decides to do some work on the way to the airport.

Yakuza deal

The kid foolishly goes directly to the Yakuza boss to make a deal.

The Yakuza are sooo happy about the deal:

Yakuza payback

That now they not only want to chop off his arm, they want to kill him and all this friends.

major kusanagi yakuza rescue

That is Motoko's cue. She busts in with the Yakuza merchandise the the kid stole and hid in the bath house locker in exchange for the kid.

major kusanagi words of advice to the kid

In the end, Major Motoko Kusanagi give the kids some advice. Don't mess with the Yakuza, don't throw your whole life away.

I'm a Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex fan. I watch this show religiously. At this point, judging from previous shows and the character Major Motoko Kusanagi, I'm certain that nothing would have happened between the Major and boy. Stand Alone Complex pushes the limits of storyline content complexity, violence, values, ethics, politics and just about every topic they adress, but to me that is the appeal.

Speaking very frankly, having an older bodacious woman is the fantasy of almost every young man. I'm not saying it is right for older women to take advantage of minors like the score of female teachers around the country who've been doing this:

Debra Lafave - beautiful child molester

Debra Lafave, Florida teacher, molested 14 year old student

I don't know how it is in other countries but this such as a taboo (right up there with terrorists) that even writing about it seems to be deadily ground (particular OLDER MEN with minors). Not sure why or how Debra Lafave, picture above, got away with it. Bit of a double standard in the U.S.
